In April 2025, Joint Stock Company SAF Tehnika commenced the implementation of a new investment project aimed at automating manual processes and reducing risks and challenges associated with production post-processing. The project is carried out within the framework of the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility.

The aimed result of the project is to introduce a comprehensive digital transformation solution for the production of product components. The solution comprises two key elements: a 3D printer with dedicated software and a component post-processing machine with accompanying software.

The deployment of this technology will enable SAF Tehnika to reach the aims of the project:

• Ensure fully automated production and post-processing in line with the company’s technical requirements and complexity, including automated preparation processes.
• Provide automated control and monitoring of production and post-processing activities.
• Establish a convenient, fast, and efficient database for product parameter files with advanced management functionality.
• Significantly reduce the need for manual labor and direct exposure to chemical substances, as well as risks of human factor in manual labor.
